About:

Pam Pappas MD is a tender of lives, and a lover of the natural world. She’s also a psychiatrist, coach, author, speaker, and homeopathic physician. She has worked in academic hospitals, large multispecialty practices, integrative medicine clinics, and solo practice — providing psychotherapy, medications, and natural treatment options for people with depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress-related health conditions.

Pam has also treated and/or coached hundreds of physicians, at all stages and levels of career – helping them turn trauma, anxiety, and burnout into lives and work they love. No matter how bleak they may feel their situation is, transformation and growth are always possible.

Since learning of the 3 Principles several years ago, Pam’s own life changed dramatically. She immersed herself by reading, absorbing videos, being mentored by experienced practitioners, and attending multiple seminars – and gradually began bringing her insights into the office with patients and coaching clients. Some patients left; most were at least curious.

Then, nearly dying of an acute illness in the hospital gave her the direct experience of being guided personally and lovingly, back into the River of Life. This sense has never left, despite months of recovering from her illness, the surgery it required, and multiple associated procedures. She could also see that the same internal guidance system is in each of her physician colleagues as well – including medical leaders, whose decisions affect countless others.

Becoming a Change Coach is an exciting new step in Pam’s career. She wants to make it as easy as possible for her clients to have their own insights, allowing them to experience the peace we’re all made of. She knows this can lead to happier, healthier, more compassionate human beings, because that’s what’s happened for her. When those are also physicians, similar changes are possible in Medicine too.
