Clare has gone from living with quite a bit of anxiety, to being mostly free of it.
She’s gone from worrying about everything, to being diagnosed with an eye condition that could possibly lead to blindness at some point, and facing that with a kind of gratitude, ease, and grace that is quite remarkable.
She’s now a coach, sharing what she’s seen with others. (She’s also an Olympic level synchronized swimmer, which I just learned in this episode!)
I have been looking forward to having Clare on the podcast for a long time because I’ve been so inspired by how she’s been navigating the change and uncertainty of her health issues. I know she will be a huge inspiration to you as well!

Well done Clare – so pleased you have overcome your anxieties and congratulations on becoming a coach. Very positive episode and I learned a lot about “letting go” and changing one’s thinking to cope with imaginary fears. Look forward to more podcasts from you
Tremendous episode. This understanding that Amy brings in her LSBC shows how its never to late even if you have had anxiety your entire life to see real change and understanding .
One of my favourite Changeable podcasts ever. The timing is perfect. 10 days ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and never have I felt so grateful for having been part of the LSBC and now listening to Clare’s story. So much of what Clare said resonated for me. Of course this is not my preferred diagnosis but I feel so calm about it especially in contrast to all the reactions directed to me (panic) instructions on doing /all this call for action. Clare and Amy have reminded me of the validity of my own choice to be in/with the experience and the knowledge that I will know what to do if something is to be done but today I can just be. Thank you Clare and Amy.
